Repressed Recession β˜οΈπŸ‘ΌπŸΎ

“I haven’t wrote a poem in a whileπŸ‘‡πŸΎ)

A way through the lesson

There’s a sign that keeps you guessing

Till it all makes sense and that’s a blessing

Overall calmness until the next session

That sparks the next thought and question

Would your brain let you believe it was only messing?

It drifts away as it is closed in less in

Throw it away in the nearest bin

There are a list of things are that are sins

As you learn all comes from within

Signing out….

In nature again, I took a whole bunch of photographs. I did a bit of walk around, it was similar to going on an adventure because there were many avenues leading to different places.

You have to find a way to get to the other side across the lake. However, it’s trial and error with finding the route to get to your desired destination.

There are only two pictures to be shown in this post.

There are places to be discovered in London, when you’re looking. You will find it.. This can lead you to other places you wouldn’t think existed. Obviously, google images can only show you so much. It’s better to see it with your own eyes as it appears freshly before you.

These pictures were captured in the East London area of Walthamstow, in the surrounding nature lands.

Top 5 Benefits Of Online & Retail Shopping πŸ›

This was written a couple of days ago: Yesterday I decided to write this post because it came to my mind that shopping can be programmed to be seen in a negative light. Understandably, excessive shopping and impulsive purchases are an issue. However, if it’s done in moderation and you’re able to save more than you spend then it’s better.

I’m going to list top 5 reasons for retail therapy ( one list for online shopping + another for in-store retail) belowπŸ‘‡πŸΎ:

Online shopping

  1. Better selections: You can find stuff online that necessarily you would not be able to find in a Β store.
  2. Peaceful environments: In-store shops can be busy at certain times and period so if you prefer quieter environments, you’ll be able to do it from the comfort of your own home.
  3. Variety: There’s more of a variation online, rather than the limited options inside shops. Stores can only stock so much, so therefore online it gives a company a chance to display all their items.
  4. Deals and discounts:Β There are always discount codes or deals that can be used with purchases to reduce costs. It can be helpful especially when you’re tryna to stick to a budget or being able to buy more items and spend the least amount of money.
  5. Efficiency:Β the process is quicker online in general. You can select the items, pay and wait for it to come. Nowadays, we even have the option of next day delivery, so you don’t have to wait too long for it.

Let’s move on to in-store retail…

In-store retail

They are still very much needed because it provides a safe base for companies to keep their businesses running. The only way I can explain is by comparing it to a warehouse store. It is a place to keep storage at. The difference is you can buy from this warehouse store, which you wouldn’t be able to do a regular storage unit.

  1. Delivery options:Β When you get something online, you are given the option to deliver your purchased items to a nearby store. The service is called click and collect, this minimises the chance of having a missed delivery or other complications.
  2. Pre-selection:Β In-store shopping only works if you know exactly what you want to get and you know the store very well. Otherwise, your day can get very very longgg.
  3. Instant gratification:Β Usually instant gratification isn’t something you should indulge in all the time because it can lead you to do impulsive and reckless behaviours. Online shopping is delayed gratification, which is better because of the anticipation of your goods. You don’t have enough time to think about what you do. In terms of shopping, if the store has your item, you can get it then and there. It makes you feel content with your trip because it hasn’t been wasted.
  4. Loyalty cards:Β I think it’s one of the best things about stores, you can sign up for loyalty cards so all your points are collected and are able to use for future purchases if you don’t have the money or the sufficient funds. It also provides you with deals or coupon which are beneficial for managing your finances by reducing your spending.
  5. Tried and tested:Β This is one of the main ones, you can try on the clothes or shoes to make sure it’s a perfect fit. Most shops have changing rooms, so it’s easier to do so now.

Archive πŸ—ƒ – #MUSICREVIEW: Music (Old vs. New) πŸŽΆπŸŽ΅

2017πŸ‘‡πŸΎ

Over this past year, I’ve been examining the music that we consumed on a regular basis. I’ve realised there are a couple of similarities and differences between them and I’d like to discuss them in this post. After listening to a couple of older tracks on YouTube. I came to a conclusion the reason why old songs are still popular is that they were sacred before the age of technology came in. It is easily accessible to find songs, with the help of the internet. We have the opportunity of App stores which allow us to download and stream music, as well specific websites that provide the visual content for our entertainment.

Let’s backtrack to the 80s or a brief period before that.. I was watching a video of Dead or Alive’s well-known single You Spin Me Right Round. I could hear the rawness of the materials, it’s like all the little parts of the instruments come together to produce one cohesive sound. It reminded me of jingle bells and you can imagine people in 80s roller-skate disco moving to it as they go around the rink in a circular motion. Anyways on topic, it came to me the success of hits back then was the fact songs were original.

2018πŸ‘‡πŸΎ

The two paragraphs above were written sometime last year. I never got to post it, because it was incomplete so I’m releasing it today for you guys to read.

Fast forward to modern day musicπŸ‘‡πŸΎβ©

It came to my attention yesterday that there seems to be an issue with Drill Music and how it encourages violent. I can understand why people would support this case because the frequency of the music can affect the brain. Also, the language and words rapped over the beats can pressure people to act out in inappropriate ways. However, to view it in another way, it can be argued the listeners who consume the music have a mind of their own, so therefore they are in charge of their own actions, so the genre can’t be blamed for deviant behaviour.

In this current day, most beats are made on a laptop using computer programmes such as Fruity Loop or the more advanced Logic Pro editions. One advantage is making music is more accessible and can be done from any location. You can produce more with less and still create a variety. It’s reduced certain aspects of the process, such as instrument hire costs, studio time and excess musicians. However, a con could be many producers can end up producing similar beats unless they have their own distinctive style and touch in their sound.

Music is a great way of experimentation and expression because it allows you to have sounds to cater to every and any occasion or mood. It is also quite fluid to, most genres can be integrated together. So, therefore some overlap in terms of sounds and how they are received by its listeners. We will have to see how music continues to progress in the upcoming future because it is consistently developing and changing.

I’m just going to finish this post with a food for thought, ponder on the question below.

How do you think music has changed over the years?

Thank you for taking time to read this review☺️

Photographic Dimension: Bournemouth, Dorset πŸ“·πŸ–πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Hi back againπŸ‘‹πŸΎ,

I got a couple of landscape photographs to share. These were taken at Bournemouth beach, which is situated in southern England. When you’re on the coast, you’re near the beginning of Europe; with only the sea acting as a boundary between the two. It’s weird to think of it from that angle but that’s basically what it is.

The Post During The Coast β˜•οΈπŸšΆπŸΎβ€β™€οΈ

There is no real reason for this post, other than the fact I haven’t uploaded one in a while.

I just suddenly had the urge to write something (I got inspired too by reading someone’s post I came across not long ago).

There is no direction I’m going in this oneπŸ€”.

The title basically describe the basics, I’ll break it down for you. When you’re by the coast, you are idle and surrounded by very little. So, therefore you have the time to think and explore your thoughts. Similar to this current moment, I hope the analogy sounded okay for you guys reading this.

However, I will be releasing a post on Wednesday. I haven’t decided on a time yet but it will be likely to be in the evening or during the day☺️

Thank you for taking time to read this post & watch out for the next oneπŸ˜‰

*Google searches locations in London*…Β RESULTSΒ

Get the rough idea of where you want to go and let Google do the rest. That’s the first start of the plan.Β The other part includes travel (transportation and mobile device) for directions. You’ll need to get all of that in order so it runs smoothly.

I’ve noticed I’ve been doing a lot more photography recently. I think that’s because there were many good locations, which are picture worthy. You are able to capture everything at that moment. Everything seems so still as if to say everything has stopped in time. Usually, you’d understand it does not work like that. There are people walking around or obstructions in the background. Especially if its a public park and at peak time, it all depends when you go.

It also allows you to see how it all fits together in one frame, working with grids as guidelines.

Here are two photographs I took on Tuesday the 7th of May 2018; check them out below:Β
