DIY Nail Extensions: A Follow Up To Two Tone Colour DesignπŸ’…πŸΎπŸ‘©πŸΎβ€πŸŽ¨

Heyyy,

This nail look is one of my favourites. I’ve done it before on shorter nails, but I think it looks better on longer tips. I used Rimmel London and Seren nail polish.

I started it off with a calcium gel base coat, with normal nail polish. It was finished off with gel top coat. You don’t need a UV lamp to create this design. All you need is yourself and your stash of polish paint. Also, a set with false nail tips to attach to the nail bed.

Tip: buffer the nail bed before placing the extensions, so it lays flat.

Once you’ve completed your nails, accessorise your finger with jewellery of your choice. This helps to enhance the appearance of your nails, as it creates contrast with lighting and also when you look at your hand. The use of rings is helpful for making you stay grounded. You can play around with it and provides a sense of safety that you’re here and alert.

Thank you for taking time to read this post and I hope you enjoy the art of doing your own nails.

New set of colours, shorter nails😍

Hiii😌

I dropped out the false tips for a more natural look this time. Sometimes false nails can get in the way of being able to function normally. Especially, if you’re not use to them on a regular basis. Visually, they do look appealing, but for practical reasons, it can cause obstructions to daily life.

I used three colours for this look and one coat of glitter paint and gel top coat to finish it off. The products used were from Rimmel London and Gambrini. If you’re looking to re-create this look at home, all you need is nail polish and kitchen essentials ready. Wait for it.. you don’t need all the fancy appliances from the nail shop to do it. This method allows you to be free with your technique. I used wooden sticks from the kitchen, the ones you put kebab on; to do the gold dots.

The whole process took about over an hour to do. It’s easy for those who have short nails and/or willing to grow them out. In repeated use, false nails can damage the nail bed. So, this type of design can be used as breather period to restore your natural nails back to health.

That’s it for today’s post, I hope you’ve enjoyed it

DIY Nail Extensions: Sparkly Orange πŸŠβœ¨

New video, new nail teaser😍

Not long ago, I got glitter powder for nails. I think glitter has become a popular choice these days. It can just jazz up any scenery and make it look shiny. Also, I used orange nail polish for base colour.

I’ve added extension tips. One thing I’ve noticed is ultraform tips are not the strongest type of false nails you should use. They tend to break quite easily and it doesn’t fit all nail shapes too. Hopefully, testing out different tip brands and maybe a new glue will improve the strength and duration of false nails.

The whole process is a experiment with the hands. You get to understand how your hand feels and guide yourself on knowing how to manage it. You become more aware of yourself and realise how it feels. It gives you the ability to hyper focus on that part of your body. This is great for people, who suffer from anxiety, disassociation. As it exposes you to sensory stimulation, which helps calm the mind and stay present in the moment.

Has anyone else realised your left hand goes more according to plan than your right? Let me know in the comments below πŸ‘‡πŸΎπŸ’…πŸΎ

DIY Nails: Nail Extensions with Two Colour DesignπŸ’œπŸ’›

Heyy, guess who’s back with another nail video!😍

I’d thought I’d share the finished product with you guys, because this is the first time I’ve added extension tips to my natural nail bed.Β The whole process was a little bit messy but I’m guessing that’s because I’m newly starting out. Hopefully as time goes on, it will get better and will improve.

As usual, I’ve used gel top coat finish with normal nail polish from the Rimmel London (Berries and Cream, which is the purple colour) and Gabrini collection (the Gold colour)

It’s good to experiment with shades and tones of one colour. I would positively reinforce using one or more, it works even better if you’re indecisive about which one to use. This means you have the comfort of knowing you can just use as many as you want.

If you’d like your nails to have length, add extension tips. It gives a larger surface area to work with, similar to when starting art on a blank canvas. Especially, being use to natural nails, sometimes you just wish to switch up your look; so why not start with your nails and the rest will follow..

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day☺️

DIY Nail Video: Nail Art – Two Colour Theme β€οΈπŸ’œ

Heyyy, I’m back again with another nail video😍

Every female can agree getting your nails done, is one of the best feelings. It brings a certain cleanliness to know you have buff nails. It also a great sight to look at your finger or toe nails and notice a pleasant view in front you.

I thought I’d share another video of my latest nail colour choice. The act and process of painting nails is therapeutic, because you concentrate on trying to perfect each nail with the brush strokes.

I decided to go with red and purple from the Rimmel London 60 Second Dry collection. The colours are called Queen of Tarts and Midnight Rendezvous. They work well together, as they are subtle colours. It’s not too bright but contrasting enough to make a difference.

It’s still the festive season, so there’s more chance to get experimental. You can choose to use these colours for when attending house parties, get-to-together or low-key events. Sometimes you’re not feeling to just use one colour, so why not use two or three (if you’re feeling a bit daringπŸ˜‰). There’s no limit when it comes to nail designs/patterns.

That was it with today’s post, I hope you enjoyed it and have fun playing around with different colours ✌🏾

What colours will you be using this season? Feel free to comment below ☺️
