Once Upon A 5am Riseβ°πŸŒ…

Once upon a morning…

….you wake up and rise. Unfortunately, you might wake up at a time that is inappropriate for you, but who’s to say it weren’t meant for something you were supposed to do. There are many reasons for being up at this time, it may cause you sigh or wish you go back to bed. This is time where your mind is silenced by the peaceful sounds of nothing. While waiting for the sun to come up, because everything is dark in sight. You hear the effects of driving cars every so often, depending if you live on a busy road or off the main road. Everything seems to popping off in the distance. There’s a party over there and you’re listening.

There comes a time, when it’s okay to resume your schedule. The jump out of the covers to pursue the day. A follow of daily routine that consume your day. It starts with a brush off the teeth and tongue. The eventual end pancaked out in bed (alone). Everything that fills you your day is a sandwich filler. Whether it be a job, children or pursing hobbies; it is a full time occupation of it’s own. You sense the cold these days before you leave your home. It allows you to make good choices of clothes to wear for extra warmth, so you’re not overstimulated by these bitter temperatures.

In the UK, the weather has a individual mind. It can go through different types of changes a day. Increasing and decreasing the temperature as it wants. It fluctuates like the sun and moon does. It is surprising you can wake up to snow dust. The adaptation to it is a must, sometimes you’ll be controlled by an external situation that you can’t trust. That doesn’t always mean to lock yourself in a box. You are free to do as you please, as long as it feels good to you. Make sure you carry emergency winter supplies such as a scarf and gloves. This will help you when it gets rough.

Note: I wrote this as bed time story for those who are wide awake at this time. The time you read it isn’t limited to one specific point to the day. So feel free to browse through at any day.

DIY Manicure + Paint: Sparkly Polka DotπŸ˜πŸ’…πŸΎ

New set of colours, shorter nails😍

Hiii😌

I dropped out the false tips for a more natural look this time. Sometimes false nails can get in the way of being able to function normally. Especially, if you’re not use to them on a regular basis. Visually, they do look appealing, but for practical reasons, it can cause obstructions to daily life.

I used three colours for this look and one coat of glitter paint and gel top coat to finish it off. The products used were from Rimmel London and Gambrini. If you’re looking to re-create this look at home, all you need is nail polish and kitchen essentials ready. Wait for it.. you don’t need all the fancy appliances from the nail shop to do it. This method allows you to be free with your technique. I used wooden sticks from the kitchen, the ones you put kebab on; to do the gold dots.

The whole process took about over an hour to do. It’s easy for those who have short nails and/or willing to grow them out. In repeated use, false nails can damage the nail bed. So, this type of design can be used as breather period to restore your natural nails back to health.

That’s it for today’s post, I hope you’ve enjoyed it

Chanda Demi Photography Chanda Demi PhotographyHave you ever gone somewhere and after you’ve left the location, instead of going straight home.. you’ve decided to take a detour?

That’s how I ended up here, take a left.. take a right and see what’s in sight. The explanation for the two photographs you see above.

I’ve realised it’s not easy to shoot at night, you have to fiddle around with the camera settings, to figure out the best match for the lighting you’ve been presented with.

You do what you can, with what you have and make the most out of it

Feel free to share your tips below on how to capture pictures in low lightπŸ‘‡πŸΎ

Thank you ☺️

The Birds And The Breeze πŸ₯🌬

Chanda Demi PhotographyBirds tweeting while breeze hits

You couldn’t give that a miss

Emphasising all the minor bits

Putting cocoa butter on the lips

Taking and breaking things apart

Surely included in the mix

Changing parts that needs a fix

Don’t forget to silence the mental diss

Waking up after a dream,

To a morning of rain all it seems

The sun isn’t shining so bright,

The noise of rain distributing light

That’s a new day starting in sight

Bedtime Burrito πŸŒ―πŸ›Œ

A short story about the time in bed…

In the bed, you’re the stuffing..

It’s just a bit past midnight and wrapped up in the bed covers like a burrito that’s been left un-fed. You lay on your back and stare to the ceiling. The silence in the air fills the space in.

It’s time to read a book or play on phone. One of the times in the day you spend alone. You could dream about eating a ice cream cone or something you adore more. If you’re up too late, you begin to feel a yawn.

You find a position to sleep in. On your back, front or side, whatever you decide; just hope your body won’t mind. A static placement entwined to help on the R.E.M. ride. All minimal distractions settle the mental fine.

It’s at the point you drift off without a thought. The hours pass retaining the residual heat from the overnight stay. In between the sheets, that’s a way to keep the warmth in. Feel it up like you’re floating in the sky.

Until the next morning rise… πŸŒ…

The process called the bedtime burrito roll ☺️

Flashback FridayπŸ”πŸ“†

Flashback Friday could be tragic

That short time is one hell of a savage

Remembering all things you’ve managed

Fixing your brain through all of the damage

A tape of replay, the film will have it

Fragments replacing the original scene

Making the mind get a spring clean

It’s all worth the mental bliss lean

DIY Nail Extensions: Sparkly Orange πŸŠβœ¨

New video, new nail teaser😍

Not long ago, I got glitter powder for nails. I think glitter has become a popular choice these days. It can just jazz up any scenery and make it look shiny. Also, I used orange nail polish for base colour.

I’ve added extension tips. One thing I’ve noticed is ultraform tips are not the strongest type of false nails you should use. They tend to break quite easily and it doesn’t fit all nail shapes too. Hopefully, testing out different tip brands and maybe a new glue will improve the strength and duration of false nails.

The whole process is a experiment with the hands. You get to understand how your hand feels and guide yourself on knowing how to manage it. You become more aware of yourself and realise how it feels. It gives you the ability to hyper focus on that part of your body. This is great for people, who suffer from anxiety, disassociation. As it exposes you to sensory stimulation, which helps calm the mind and stay present in the moment.

Has anyone else realised your left hand goes more according to plan than your right? Let me know in the comments below πŸ‘‡πŸΎπŸ’…πŸΎ

The ray of light avalanche..

I won’t break in a poetic song, because the background of the photograph won’t come last.

The funny thing is the picture is of the past (taken yesterday).

It was taken on a mobile phone, even though the detail of the grass hedge looks clear.

Also, the sun is positioned between the two branches. It reminds me of a chilled out Sunday which it was. A view you would see from a bench or something similar; depending on where you stand.

#ShortStory: Soft Breeze Sunday😍

Let me introduce you to a short story..

www.chandademi.comYou wake up to sun and the soft breeze has just begun.

It touches your skin, whilst brief parts of your legs are out and long.

You lay there taking the swift touches, a light brush is done.

Outside the window; there is sun, hopefully it’s not too cold and you can have fun.

The sky is clear to look at, as oppose to cloudy one.

Take it in whilst it lasts, because the weather changes according it’s own style…

The Time Lessonβ°πŸ“•

www.chandademi.comTime is a lesson

When you were young

You were only messing

Situations come in for testing

Give time for you to get a rest in

Creating a space for a little nesting

Playing around on YouTube

That involves video requesting

Smooth voices soothes bodily things

The consequence good music brings

Singing along so it releases the sting

Remember you are more than just a thing
